SARATOGA BEER WEEK - FEB 19-23
February 19th - Launch of Flights and Bites. Each night of Beer Week we will be pairing different flights of our brews with "bite" flights - ranging from oysters to bacon to meatballs
Tuesday, February 19th
Strange Brew Event
HST will be offering unique beers never before seen on tap in the Capital Region, including Evil Twin Biscotti Break and Stillwater of Love and Regret.
Wednesday, February 20th
Henry Street Academy - Beer and Oysters 101 2:30-4:00pm SOLD OUT
Join Brendan McLane of Oskar Blues and Doug Freeman of Brickman Seafood to learn about the art of pairing oysters and beer.

Six Oskar Blues beers will be on tap, including a special collaboration with Sun King (IN) and a one-off of Mama's Little Yella Pils aged in Chardonnay Barrells. We will also have OB's own Brendan McLane on hand to talk about the beers. IN addition, we will be offering oyster flights, including a raw oyster flight and oysters 4 ways.

Henry Street Academy kicks off it's flaghship class. Adam Lang of Sixpoint Brewery teams up with local R & G Cheese maker Sean O'Connor to show the art of pairing beer and cheese.

Sixpoint Tap Takeover

Along with Sixpoint's core lineup of Stellar Beer (a Taproom favorite) we will have two beers from their Spice of Life 2013 Series, where the same IPA is made monthly with different hops each time. We'll have their IPA made with Pacifica hops and one with Summer hops. Come taste the difference the hop varities make.

Saturday, February 23rd
East Coast v. West Coast
Brooklyn Brewery and Sierra Nevada go head to head in this battle of the breweries. We'll have offerings from each brewery that you won't find anywhere else in town. Brooklyn will be bringing their Defender, Doppelbock Silver Anniversary and Brooklyn Blast Imp. IPA among others. Sierra Nevada is bringing their Narwhal, Ovila Quad w/plums, and Kellerweiss among others.
